Pipeline Background

An oil & gas industry client was installing a new underground pipeline and determined the most effective route involved crossing a stream. The client contracted AGES to perform on-site environmental inspection and compliance duties for the pipeline dig in the vicinity of the stream.

Modeling, Inspection & Permitting

AGES performed the Water Resource Risk Model (WRRM) to assess the risk of water resources being present. AGES then performed a site visit to confirm the presence of water resources and gather site specific information for an encroachment permit application.

During the implementation phase of the project, AGES Environmental Inspector managed erosion and sediment control to minimize impacts to the stream. In addition, AGES Environmental Inspector facilitated communications with the client, contractor and regulatory agencies.
